Gary Gemmill

Gary Gemmill, Ph.D. is Professor Emeritus of Organizational Behavior in the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. He teaches graduate courses in leadership, organizational process consultation, and transformational management.

Gary has written several articles on leadership, applied group dynamics, and personal growth that have appeared in such professional journals as Human Relations, Small Group Research, Consultation, Journal of Management Inquiry, Journal of the Academy of Management, Personnel Psychology, and the Sloan Management Review. Recently he co-authored a book with George Kraus, Ph.D. entitled: "A View from the Cosmic Mirror: Reflections of the Self in Everyday Life." Additionally, he has consulted worldwide on leadership development, group development, and personal growth.

Gary has been recognized as a Professional Group Development consultant by the International Association of Applied Social Scientist as well as the Association for Creative Change in Religious and Other Social Systems. He also has a post-graduate degree in Gestalt Therapy from the Gestalt Training Center of San Diego.
