President and Principal Consultant, Lou Tufford brings over twenty-five years experience and expertise in leadership education, executive coaching, human resources and organizational development to the company she formed in 2009. Lou's work is rooted in her belief that trust, ethics and integrity are the foundation for the authentic relationships that sit at the core of high performance, collaborative work groups and organizations.
Lou is a keen observer of the human condition with a unique ability to synthesize information, diagnose problems and devise a wide range of approaches to address challenges affecting individuals and groups in the workplace.
An HR professional with executive level experience, Lou has guided individuals and organizations in sectors from engineering, financial management, research science and information technologies, to health care, higher education, hospitality and retail.
In addition to her recent consulting work, Lou has served as Assistant Dean and Director of Human Resources at Cornell University and the State University of New York; and as a leadership educator and executive coach at Cornell's Johnson Graduate School of Management, and The Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.
Recognized by the faculty for outstanding academic achievement in Syracuse University's Whitman School of Management, she possesses her Master of Business Administration from SU and a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University.
